Urban and Regional Planning Joins Government and Philosophy

The Urban and Regional Planning faculty have joined a renamed Government, Planning, and Philosophy Department. The merged department adds the B.S. in Urban & Regional Planning and a minor in Urban & Regional Planning to its current degree-granting programs.

Direct Admission to the University at Buffalo MUP Program
 
With your BS in Planning or BA in Political Science at Buffalo State University, you can benefit from direct admission to the University at Buffalo (UB) Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MUP).
 
If you’re interested, contact Kevin Donovan, UB Planning Department Admissions Coordinator, at kpd2@buffalo.edu. Please provide CV and letter of motivation before completing your application. 
 
If you graduate with your BS/BA with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, the UB Planning Department will:
  • waive the application fee;
  • offer you a competitive departmental tuition scholarship if you completed your BS/BA in 4 or more years;
  • offer you a top-level departmental tuition scholarship if you complete your BS/BA in 3 or 3.5 years.
